In this episode, Jen shares how we need to connect with our inner child and incorporate play into our life by scheduling time where we can express ourselves without an expectation for the outcome. 

The conversation was fun, as you would expect from someone who implements play into her coaching practice. During the show, Jen shares some amazing tips and strategies for being your best self and living your best life!

We talk about how each of us needs to use the type of exercise that works before for their unique body. Not everyone benefits from the same workout. If you aren’t enjoying your workout, you won’t keep it up.  Find one that works for you and give yourself permission to do what feels good.

She shares her formula for becoming your best self. It is:

P – Play or rest – it isn’t a luxury but rather a necessity for us all

L – Loving yourself unconditionally – forgive yourself and use compassion

A – Awareness of when you are not aligned – your body will tell you

Y – Saying Yes to yourself – to check with your values and live them!

We also discussed how saying yes to the bigger yes is important. Sometimes we have to let go of good things to allow space for even better things.  Listen to your intuition (the Holy Spirit) to know what course to take. 

Jen also shared that her favorite quote which is “Know Thyself” in the interview.
